- Sir Ken Robinson - is an internationally recognized leader in the development of creativity, innovation and human resources and a New York Times best selling author. He works with governments in Europe, Asia and the USA, with international agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and some of the world’s leading cultural organizations.
- Dr. Stephanie Pace Marshall - is the Founding President and President Emerita of the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy®. She is internationally recognized as a pioneer, an innovative leader and teacher, an inspiring speaker and writer on leadership, learning and schooling, mathematics and science education, talent development, and the design of generative and life-affirming learning organizations.
- Dr. Christopher Spence - is a renowned educator, dedicated community advocate and Director of Education for the Toronto District School Board. Dr. Spence has over 15 years senior administration and teaching experience and has authored several books. His leadership role in working with the broader educational community to manage issues, develop policy and promote causes that benefit students and achieve measurable results has been widely recognized.
- Dr. Vianne Timmons - is the President of the University of Regina and has a wealth of academic and administrative experience as well as a history of community engagement. She was the Vice-President of Academic Development at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) and has served as Chair of the Education Department at St. Francis Xavier University and Dean of Education at UPEI.
- Sheelah McLean - is PhD student, a high school teacher and Adult Education instructor with over 18 years experience. She also teaches a Social and Ecological Justice Cohort in the College of Education at the University of Saskatchewan. Her activist work includes organizing and co-chairing SAFE, (Social Justice and Anti-racist Anti-oppressive forum on Education), a new Special Subject Council of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation that will support teachers across the province. Sheelah has received a Global Citizenship Award from SCIC and an RCE Award for innovation and excellence in Education. Sheelah’s master’s thesis is on anti-racist education, and her PhD research continues this theme.
- Carol Schick - is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Regina. She received her PhD from the University of Toronto in Sociology and Equity Studies in Education. She teaches graduate students in courses such as “Anti-Oppressive Education and Teacher Activism: How Far Will You Go?” Her research investigates the effects of racism, sexism, class discrimination and sexual orientation in education. She is especially interested in the justice-oriented work of education leaders. Dr. Schick’s most recent publication is an edited collection, with Dr. James McNinch, “I Thought Pocahontas Was a Movie”: Perspectives on Race/Culture Binaries in Education and Service Professions.
